AIR INTAKE FILTERS
Industrial Filter Manufacturers offers small, medium and large capacity intake filters and filter / silencers for the protection of air compressors, blowers, engines, and turbines. Standard air intake filters have capacities up to 40,000 CFM with outlet sizes up to 42" diameter. All models are furnished with rugged weather hoods. Standard materials are carbon steel and are furnished with rust preventative primer coating beneath all weather paint.
The AF, AFE, and AFS SERIES incorporate a "radial fin" design which offers maximum filter area, low-pressure drop, and a large dirt holding capacity for long element life. Standard models are furnished with a felted polyester medium rated at 98% efficiency on particle sizes 10 microns and larger. After several cleanings, most elements can be returned to the factory for rebuilding. (See Rebuilding Services)
The AFP two and three stage panel filter series incorporate a panel style element with efficiencies up to 99.98% of 0.3 microns.
Custom design and materials are available on all models to meet higher flow rates and special applications.

SPECIFICATIONS
Designed for maximum protection, the efficient dry-type AF Series intake filter has very low initial resistance to air flow. This allows it to meet varying filtered air requirements for all types of equipment
The all weather housing of heavy gauge carbon steel is furnished with a rust preventative primer coating beneath an all-weather paint. The rugged weather hood shields against entrance of rain or snow in outdoor service. The AF filter is designed to mount directly on the compressor blower, engine inlet or on a remote air inlet pipe.
Radial Fin filter element standard construction includes a durable felted polyester medium rated at 98% efficiency on 10 microns and larger. When conditions demand, alternate media of synthetic fibers or glasses can be supplied from .3 to 100 microns nominal retention.
A cleanable molded-end element is standard in models AF444-08 and smaller. Larger models are furnished with a cleanable, sewn end element. Following several field cleanings, the elements can be returned to the factory for rebuilding and reconditioning. Industrial Filter Manufacturers will also custom design to meet special application needs

All the AFS filter/silencers incorporate and efficient dry type intake filter with a series of tubes to help meet acceptable industrial standards.

SPECIFICATIONS
Designed for maximum protection of centrifugal and axial compressors and blowers. The AFE2 Series efficiently removes dust, sand, oil mist, moisture and other airborne contaminants from air streams. The AFE2 filter is designed to mount directly on the compressor or blower inlet or on a remote inlet pipe. The all-weather housing is constructed of heavy gauge carbon steel with rust preventative epoxy primer coating under a polyurethane finish. The AFE2 housing can be installed upright or, for special applications, in a horizontal position.
PRIMARY STAGE ELEMENT has a contaminant removal efficiency of 98% on 10 microns and is cleanable and reusable.
SECONDARY STAGE ELEMENT has a contaminant removal efficiency of 98% on 2 microns, which will remove the fine particles and protect the compressor or blower impellers from erosion.
